STAKES WIN: 2022 COTTON FITZSIMMONS
Mucho Del Oro won in his last race, the Cotton Fitzsimmons Mile Handicap at Turf Paradise, in a thriller. He broke on the lead while being challenged at all points during the race, was slightly passed turning for home, but outgamed his main challenger to win a head-bobber at the wire.
We claimed Mucho Del Oro for $40,000 at Del Mar Racetrack on November 21st, 2021. Mucho Del Oro has earned close to $150,000 for Peerenboom Racing Stables after that claim in just 4 races.
He is in the barn of Vladimir Cerin in Southern California.
On Purpose was a close 3rd in her last race at Santa Anita. In a very tough field, she battled all throughout and was narrowing the gap on the winner at the end of the race.
On Purpose is in Valdimir Cerin’s barn in Southern California.
Tyche was fifth in a Golden Gate Starter Allowance last time out. She broke a touch slow and ran evenly late in her 3 year old seasonal debut. She should be much fitter in her next race.
Tyche Awaits You is in Dan Markle’s barn in Northern California.
St. Paddy’s Charm has one of the stronger pedigrees in the stable. He’s by Cloud Computing and Bide A Wee Island, a Sligo Bay mare. Cloud Computing was a grade I winning millionaire on the track and Preakness Stake Winner. Bide A Wee Island has also produced a grade 3 winner, Island Commish, who has earned over $250,000 in his racing career.
The two-year-old Kentucky-bred colt is in Dan Markle’s Northern California barn and will be pointed towards California racing with high expectations.
We’re excited about our flashy Cal-bred yearling filly. She’s by grade I millionaire and grade I sire Stay Thirsty. Stay Thirsty was the sire of sixteen stakes winners in 2020.
This filly’s broodmare is allowance winning mare, Time For Suzzie, who earned over $175,000 in her racing career. Peerenboom Racing Stables was part of Time For Suzzie’s racing career and is overjoyed with the chance to run her daughter in California in 2023.
